The Devil Series

The Devil Series

Pilgrim,

The Archive has opened a file Ravenside paid handsomely to misplace.

The pages smell of rain, old whiskey, and smoke trapped inside leather. Several photographs have been removed. A few names are blackened beyond recovery. One statement appears in three different hands.

The Devil came home.

No one agrees on what followed.

Wolfwater remembers engines passing beneath broken streetlights. Crown Center remembers elevators arriving at floors no one selected. Men with expensive watches began checking shadows. Women who mistook attention for power discovered that admiration and mercy are distant relatives.

Helix remained open.

This is considered suspicious.

There are glasses still waiting on tables whose occupants will not return. A silver ring was recovered beside a crushed strawberry. Black orchids appeared at two funerals, although no one admits sending them.

The police called these details unrelated.

The Archive has preserved their optimism.

At the center of the record stands a woman who could not speak and a man everyone had already named a monster. Ravenside decided one needed rescuing and the other required destroying.

The city was wrong twice.

Quiet did not make her powerless.

Violence did not make him incapable of tenderness.

That is the contradiction the official record cannot survive. The Devil was not changed by innocence. The little ghost was not saved by becoming fragile. They met among ruined things and recognized something the world had failed to kill.

Everything afterward became evidence.

A chair drawn closer to the darkest table. Bread cooling before dawn. A leather jacket around narrow shoulders. Blood washed from hands before they touched her face.

Tenderness leaves fingerprints too, Pilgrim.

It is merely harder to prosecute.

You may examine the pages in order and pretend chronology offers protection.

You may follow the redacted names into Ravenside and learn why wealthy men fear locked elevators.

Or you may remain at Helix, near the corner where the whiskey waits, and listen when silence begins breathing beside you.

Choose with care.

The Archive records everyone who enters—but the Devil remembers who tried to leave.

They call her Femi, though no one knows her real name.

Silent and elusive, she moves through the Helix clubhouse like a ghost, serving dangerous men while asking only to be left alone. Then Daemon returns—a scarred, merciless man feared by everyone except the woman whose quiet begins drawing him closer.

He never asks for her voice. She never asks for his protection.

But some monsters remember what the world has forgotten—and when Femi’s buried past begins whispering her name, Daemon will remind them why even devils know to fear him.

When the Devil Brought Quiet is a dark, slow-burning romance about the violence of memory, the sanctuary of choice, and a dangerous man who became the safest place she had ever known.

A dark romantic suspense novel featuring a morally gray protector, slow-burn intimacy, found family, and trauma recovery—set inside a gritty biker world.

Femi has spent her whole life learning how to disappear.

So when loving Daemon becomes more terrifying than leaving him, she does what she has always done.

She runs.

Twenty stops away from Ravenside, the little ghost tries to build a life without the man who taught her what it meant not to be lonely. But distance does nothing to silence the thing living beneath Daemon Pallid’s skin.

The Devil remembers her.

Her strawberries.
Her quiet.
Her hands.
The way she looked at every ruined piece of him—and stayed.

And when Femi finally finds her way back into his arms, something between them changes. Desire becomes hunger. Protection becomes possession. The Devil no longer watches her from the darkness.

It wants her.

Then Lily returns. A woman from Femi’s past carrying old secrets, old betrayals, and the kind of trouble that has already learned Femi’s name.

Femi survived the streets.
She survived being forgotten.
She survived learning to love the Devil.

Now she will learn something far more dangerous.

The Devil does not fear losing what it loves.

It kills for what it has claimed.

What the Devil Claimed

Daemon Pallid has spent years making certain no one gets close enough to see what lives beneath the scars.

Femi Vale changes that.

As the distance between them disappears, Daemon begins giving his little ghost the pieces of himself he has never trusted anyone else to hold—the truth about his past, the violence that made him, and the Devil that has lived inside him for longer than he cares to remember.

And finally, Daemon stops pretending Femi isn’t his.

But somewhere beyond Helix, Carr Booth is still watching.

From a distance, Carr reaches into Femi’s life simply to prove that he can, dragging painful pieces of her past back into the present and testing how far his influence can travel. Then he finds Lily Thomas again.

Jealous, bitter, and still convinced she can take what belongs to Femi, Lily accepts Carr’s money in exchange for photographs—and something far more personal. Something that belongs only to Femi.

Lily has been spared before.

This time, she learns that mercy is not the same thing as permission. And some things can never be stolen.

Because Carr isn’t collecting souvenirs. He’s preparing. Every photograph. Every secret. Every weakness. Every carefully placed piece brings him closer to the woman he has already decided belongs beside him. His queen.

And this time, Carr has no intention of leaving her a way out.

Carr Booth smiles.

“Bring me, my Queen.”

Daemon claimed his little ghost. Now another man intends to take her.

And Carr is about to discover why the most dangerous thing he could ever steal from the Devil— is his quiet.

The Devil was Never Yours

When They Took Quiet

Lily knew Femi before Helix gave her shelter.

Before Wolfwater learned to protect her.

Before the Devil called her his little ghost.

And years ago, Lily sold her.

Carr Booth has waited patiently for the woman he calls his Queen. He has money enough to purchase silence, power enough to erase resistance, and a beautiful cage prepared for the life he has already decided Femi will share with him. Her refusal means nothing. Her love for Daemon is merely a mistake Carr intends to correct.

Now he has come to collect what Lily promised him.

But Femi is no longer the frightened girl they remember. Her quiet belongs to her—and the Devil standing beside her has never respected another man’s claim.

Lily sold Carr a Queen.

What she failed to mention was that Femi had already chosen her king.

And when they take his little ghost, Daemon will teach Ravenside the difference between possessing a woman—and being loved by one.

When They Took the Devil’s Quiet

Quiet in the Devil’s Arms

Femi survived the night Otis Dusse murdered her parents.

She survived seven stab wounds, one gunshot, years of foster care, and the silence trauma left behind. But when Otis returns to collect the woman he believes was promised to him, survival may no longer be enough.

Daemon Pallid was shaped into an executioner and taught that tenderness was weakness. Then Femi enters his darkness and gives the Devil something he has never possessed—a home. When her nightmares drag her back into the blood and rain of her childhood, Daemon holds her through every silent tremor, calling his little ghost home.

But Otis has not forgotten Eira.

And if he tries to take her again, he will discover that quiet is not helplessness—and the safest place in Ravenside may be inside the Devil’s arms.

Quiet in The Devil’s Arms

Twelve years ago, Leto and the Organization tried to turn Daemon Pallid into the perfect weapon. Their experiments were meant to control the Devil inside him—to strip away the last pieces of the man and leave something stronger, obedient, and lethal.

When the experiment failed, they burned the warehouse with Daemon inside and believed their executioner had finally died.

They were wrong.

Now Leto has learned Daemon survived, and he wants his weapon back. He sends Sherri Dream to Ravenside to find the man she still calls her Demon. Sherri remembers violence as devotion and believes the Devil once belonged to her. She intends to reclaim him—even if that means coming between Daemon and his little ghost.

She is about to learn the truth.

The Devil was never hers.

But when Femi is kidnapped, something old awakens.

The Devil remembers the experiments.
It remembers the fire.
It remembers Leto.

And, most importantly—

the Devil remembers how to hunt.

What begins as Leto’s search for his missing weapon becomes a bloody race through Ravenside, because while the Organization is hunting Daemon, the Devil is hunting them.

And this time, it has something worth killing for.

When the Devil Chose Quiet

Daemon Pallid thought he had already survived the worst thing his family could do to him.

Then his elder brother came to Ravenside.

Caemon Pallid—the Puppet Master—has made a promise to the Silent Order:

The Devil will do one last job.

The Little Bird Cage is open again, and Caemon expects his younger brother to step willingly inside.

But Daemon is no longer the weapon his brother remembers.

He has a home.

A wife.

A child on the way.

And when Daemon refuses, Caemon begins pulling strings buried deep in a past Daemon thought he had escaped.

Then Deacon arrives carrying the truth about the man Daemon once believed saved him.

Some truths set people free.

Others reveal the cage was there all along.

Soon, everything Daemon has built is threatened—and the Devil is forced to confront the one debt it never agreed to pay.

Caemon Pallid came to Ravenside believing the Devil still owed him.

He is about to discover that the Devil’s debt was never his to collect.

What The Devil Was Owed

Daemon Pallid remembers how to kill.

He remembers the Silent Order.

The blood.

The orders.

The monster they taught the world to fear.

But something is missing.

Something important.

Back in Ravenside, Daemon finds pieces of a life he cannot reconcile with the man he remembers—and a woman who looks at him as though she knows exactly what survived beneath the Devil.

Femi refuses to tell him what he should feel.

She doesn’t beg.

Doesn’t chase.

Doesn’t ask him to become the man he was.

She simply remains Femi.

And somehow, the Devil still knows his little ghost.

But the Silent Order has unfinished business with the executioner who escaped them.

They came believing they knew what it would take to end the Devil.

They forgot one thing.

The Devil has survived them before.
