Drasha Kingdom

Western Kingdom
Realm of Wind, Tide, and Unfinished Skies.
The Western Kingdom is a land shaped by motion. Its coasts are jagged, its cities built to bend rather than endure, its people accustomed to storms that arrive without warning and leave without apology. Sea routes matter more than roads. Messages travel by wind, wave, and wing before they ever touch parchment.
Where the East prizes control, the West prizes adaptation.
Fishing fleets, storm-watch towers, cliffside harbors, and wave-cut cities define the landscape. Buildings are layered with shutters and runnels for rain. Nothing here is meant to last untouched—only to be rebuilt quickly and well.
The kingdom is ruled by Sol, the Storm King—Inu Yokai, wind-bound, oath-driven. His authority is not ceremonial. It is elemental. Storms answer him. So do the people, though not always quietly.
Sol rules from the high coast, where lightning breaks over black water and the wind never fully rests. His governance is direct, often personal. He intervenes when necessary and withdraws when not. He does not surround himself with excessive court ritual. He expects his captains, governors, and priests to act decisively—and to answer when they fail.
The Western Kingdom under Sol is loud, alive, and frequently dangerous. Arguments are public. Celebrations are excessive. Grief is shared rather than hidden. Justice is swift but not always gentle.
Unlike Sogetsu, obedience here is not assumed. It is earned repeatedly.
Sol’s reign has brought unity to a region once fractured by rival ports and storm cults. Trade is strong. Borders are fluid but respected. The sea remains perilous—but predictable in its unpredictability.
The people say this of their king:
He does not promise safety.
He promises to stand in the storm with you.
The West has not surrendered its chaos.
It has given that chaos a name—and a crown.
