No one knows Red’s real name.
With pale skin, brown eyes, and long red hair braided over her left shoulder, she is difficult to mistake and nearly impossible to surprise. She favors dark-red pantsuits beneath a long black trench coat, dressing with the authority of a woman who has never needed permission to enter a room.
Red operates as a madam in Eastgate. Her women serve criminals, businessmen, law-enforcement officers, and men who speak carelessly once they believe no one important is listening. Through them, Red knows who has entered Ravenside, who is searching for whom, and which alliances are beginning to fracture.
She and Malone were friends long before Iris entered his life. Red has loved him for years, though she would rather swallow broken glass than confess it aloud. Their affection survives through arguments, exchanged information, and the absolute certainty that either would answer if the other called in the middle of the night.
Red trades secrets for a living.
Her feelings for Malone are the only ones she keeps without profit.
