The Primordial Lands

THE PRIMORDIAL LANDS

The Primordial Palace-Kamari Palace
Seat of Ath’tal’s rule. A fortified stronghold surrounded by sprawling courtyards, training grounds, and ceremonial halls.
Known for: political tension, jealousy-driven drama, spiritual rituals, and Bella almost dying at least once every twenty pages.

Kamari Palace
(The Primordial Palace)
Seat of Ath’tal’s rule and the beating heart of the Primordial Lands. Kamari Palace is a vast, fortified stronghold of stone, moonlight, and ancient magic, built long before human kingdoms ever learned to call themselves empires.
Surrounded by sweeping courtyards, war-training grounds, and ceremonial halls, the palace stands at the center of ancient yokai territory—where towering mountains loom like silent sentinels and spiritual forests hum with old power.
Known for its volatile court politics, jealousy-fueled rivalries, and sacred rituals, Kamari Palace is as dangerous socially as it is formidable in war. Power is measured not only by strength, but by loyalty, lineage, and who the land itself chooses to answer.
The Kamari Palace stood as a magnificent testament to the grandeur and enduring history of the Primordial Lands. Nestled amid lush, ancient forests, the sprawling complex stretched across vast terrain, its stone and spirit woven seamlessly into the land itself. Each wing of the palace served a distinct purpose, reflecting both tradition and function.
The west wing housed the ruling family, its halls steeped in authority and guarded silence. The north wing belonged to the servants—those whose quiet diligence kept the palace alive, warm, and breathing. The east wing, reserved for guests and visitors, offered a carefully curated glimpse of Kamari’s beauty and luxury, a place meant to impress without revealing too much. The south wing, sealed and long abandoned, stood in silence—its doors closed for years, its purpose forgotten or deliberately left unspoken.
At the heart of Kamari Palace rose the main residence, an architectural marvel of ancient yokai design. Within its grand walls, Bella discovered a fully appointed dojo for martial training, expansive kitchens alive with constant motion, opulent meeting halls where politics and power intertwined, and vast libraries heavy with ancient knowledge and forgotten truths.
Beyond the palace walls, the lands flourished in quiet harmony. Rolling farms fed the realm, valleys opened into serene stretches of green, and waterfalls spilled into peaceful lagoons that reflected the sky like mirrors. Pristine beaches lined the distant edges of the domain, their sands untouched and endless, as though the world itself bowed outward from the palace’s presence.
Kamari Palace was not merely a seat of rule—it was a living symbol of the Primordial Lands, vast enough to shelter beauty, power, secrecy, and danger all at once.
