Luke is built like the side of a mountain—broad, steady, immovable when he chooses to be. A bear yokai who grew up alongside Jason, he understands both the man and the beast beneath him better than most. Where Jason is calculated and contained, Luke is grounded and direct.
His devotion to Nogc defines him. With her, he is gentle, amused, utterly devoted. Without her, he is formidable—protective to the point of intimidation. Children gravitate to him instinctively, drawn to the sense of safety that radiates from him even when he is being tackled into the grass during play.
Luke is not as politically sharp as Jason, nor as subtle. But he does not need to be. His strength lies in clarity. When lines are drawn, Luke stands on one side and does not move.
He has always treated Jason like a brother.
