Dacia

Dacia is a rare hair yokai and former student of Sacred Arts Academy, known as much for her beauty as for the dangerous abilities hidden within her impossibly long wavy brown hair. At eighteen years old, standing 5’5 with brown eyes, tan skin, and graceful elegance, Dacia grew up surrounded by wealth, influence, and social privilege thanks to her father’s position as one of Faygrove’s most powerful lawyers.

But none of that was ever what she wanted.

She wanted:
Tyr Moon.

The Girl Tyr Dated

Unlike many others orbiting Tyr from afar, Dacia once truly had him.

Briefly.

After the death of Tyr’s mother, during one of the darkest periods of his life, Dacia stayed close to him. Calm, attentive, and emotionally available, she became someone Tyr could tolerate beside him while grieving.

Eventually—

they dated.

For nearly a year.

To Dacia, that year became everything.

Because even if Tyr never loved her the way she wanted—

he chose her once.

And she never forgot it.

The End of the Relationship

Everything changed during the M.I.K.O Project.

Because that was when Tyr met:
Luna Sano.

Dacia noticed the shift immediately.

The way Tyr watched Luna.

The way his attention sharpened around her.

The way his patience changed.

And worst of all—

the way he ended things with Dacia shortly afterward.

Not cruelly.

Not angrily.

Simply…

finally.

For Dacia, it felt like being quietly erased.

The Hair Yokai

Dacia’s species grants her control over her hair, allowing it to move, bind, cut, and strike almost like a living weapon. Her hair is both her greatest pride and the symbol of her beauty, something she maintains obsessively.

To insult Dacia’s hair is considered deeply offensive.

To damage it—

unforgivable.

The False Friend

Unlike Caria, whose hatred burned openly, Dacia chose a subtler path.

She remained near Tyr.

Smiled at Luna.

Pretended civility.

Pretended friendship.

All while quietly helping make Luna’s school life miserable alongside:

  • Linda
  • and sometimes Caria

Dacia understood social warfare far better than open confrontation.

She preferred:

  • rumors
  • emotional manipulation
  • humiliation disguised as concern
  • and quiet cruelty hidden beneath politeness

Expulsion

Eventually Dacia’s involvement in attacks and harassment against Luna became impossible for Sacred Arts Academy to ignore.

When investigations connected her to direct aggression against Luna—

she was expelled.

The scandal damaged her family socially, though her father’s status prevented complete public disgrace.

Still—

within yokai circles, people remembered.

And Dacia hated Luna even more for it.

Relationship with Tyr Now

Dacia still lingers around Tyr whenever possible.

Still smiles at him softly.

Still speaks to him like she remembers something intimate no one else does.

Because she does.

Part of her genuinely believes Tyr could still come back to her.

If Luna disappeared.

If Luna broke.

If Luna finally stopped existing between them.

And that belief makes Dacia dangerous.

Personality

Dacia is:

  • elegant
  • patient
  • emotionally manipulative
  • socially intelligent
  • quietly obsessive

Unlike louder rivals, Dacia rarely loses composure publicly.

She weaponizes calmness.

And often hides cruelty beneath sympathy.

The Truth About Dacia

Dacia tells herself she hates Luna because Luna ruined her relationship.

But deeper than that—

Dacia hates Luna because Luna achieved something Dacia never could:

Tyr looked at Luna with certainty.

Not grief.

Not loneliness.

Not temporary comfort.

Love.

And Dacia knows—

no matter how beautiful she becomes—

she can never force someone to love her that way.

Final Note

Dacia is the kind of girl people mistake for harmless because she smiles while she cuts them apart.

She was once the girl standing beside Tyr Moon.

Now—

she is the girl standing outside the life she thought would belong to her forever.

And she still hasn’t accepted that the door closed.
